Marion Gorham
I have drawn and painted since childhood. Now retired from employment as a nurse, educator, and administrator I have returned to my earlier ambition to be an artist. I have a studio at Leverett Crafts and Arts and paint mainly in acrylics and pastels but also oils and watercolors. More or less self-taught I have taken occasional courses, exhibited in both group and one man shows, sold some paintings, given more away, but, generally, paint for fun. At present I paint with the Old Deerfield Painters Group and participate in Louise Minks’ Critique Group. I enjoy plein air painting as well as still-lifes and portraits. Visitors are welcome to my studio. I’m people oriented and enjoy interruptions.
